I reported on the Massachusetts Statehouse for the Taunton Daily Gazette through the BU Statehouse program, pitching and writing government stories relevant to the Taunton area, and localizing state-wide issues. I followed the beat of Taunton, but the program included larger enterprise stories available to multiple outlets. A highlight of my experience in the program was covering manufactured home parks and the residents' troubles with rising rent prices.
